A series of 1,3,4-oxadiazole and pyrazole derivatives have been synthesized and evaluated for antifungal activity. The structures of synthesized compounds were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, Mass and CHN analysis. These compounds have shown promising antifungal activity when compared with the standard drug griseofulvin by cup-plate agar diffusion method using sabouraud-dextrose agar....
Flavonoid derivatives with the help of substituted benzaldehyde were synthesized and evaluated for antidibetic activity. The new flavonoid derivatives prepared as per reference paper of sushil D Patil et al., and were screened in-vivo for acute oral toxicity study for the doses of 30 and 100 mg/kg in wistar rats and were found to be safe as they did not show any treatment related adverse effects. So these five derivatives were evaluated for antidiabetic activity using the experimental model of diabetes induced by alloxan in rats for acute as well as subacute study. The results of the study revealed that most of the compounds tested showed moderate to good antidiabetic activity....
Very few research and review articles have been published on pyrrolo[2,3,d]pyrimidines. Here attempt is made to cater the literature on pyrrolopyrimidines to the scientific community. This review includes some of the established methods for the synthesis of pyrrolo[2,3 d]pyrimidines and biological review covering various activities of the pyrrolo[2,3 d]pyrimidines....
